Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF) provides the highest quality services for children and adults who are challenged with developmental, learning and emotional disabilities – empowering them to reach their greatest potential. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION SPECIALIS/REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN (Part-Time/Full-Time)

We offer flexible work schedules, entry level trainings, as well as BCBA supervision hours.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide Behavior Intervention/ABA services to children and adolescents in the school and home
• Work closely with supervisors to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and/or Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Complete appropriate documentation and data collection
• Work cooperatively with other paraprofessional and licensed staff to facilitate positive interventions

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma (Associate’s Degree Preferred).

Personal: Be intelligent, flexible, energetic, and dedicated.

 Experience: Familiarity with ABA preferred but not necessary and/or experience working with children.

Knowledge/Abilities/Skills: Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with a variety of individuals including teachers, clients, and parents, in a respectful and effective manner. Work independently and as part of a team and follow instructions of supervisor. Think critically and manage time efficiently. Basic computer skills (Word/Outlook). Maintain a professional image and courteous demeanor at all times.

SALARY

$18.00 to $25.75 per hour. Paid RBT trainings.

WORK LOCATION

LAUSD schools, client’s homes, and our ECF HQ building in Culver City.
