Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF) provides the highest quality services for children and adults who are challenged with developmental, learning and emotional disabilities – empowering them to reach their greatest potential. Each year, ECF serves more than 4,800 clients and their families at 15 sites throughout Los Angeles County. Established in 1946, ECF is the only organization of its kind in California to provide a lifespan of services for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION SPECIALIS/REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN (Part-Time/Full-Time)

We offer flexible work schedules, entry level trainings, as well as BCBA supervision hours.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide Behavior Intervention/ABA services to children and adolescents in the school and home
- Work closely with supervisors to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and/or Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Complete appropriate documentation and data collection
- Work cooperatively with other paraprofessional and licensed staff to facilitate positive interventions
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma (Associate’s Degree Preferred).
Personal: Be intelligent, flexible, energetic, and dedicated.
Experience: Familiarity with ABA preferred but not necessary and/or experience working with children.
Knowledge/Abilities/Skills: Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with a variety of individuals including teachers, clients, and parents, in a respectful and effective manner. Work independently and as part of a team and follow instructions of supervisor. Think critically and manage time efficiently. Basic computer skills (Word/Outlook). Maintain a professional image and courteous demeanor at all times.
SALARY
$18.00 to $25.75 per hour. Paid RBT trainings.
WORK LOCATION
LAUSD schools, client’s homes, and our ECF HQ building in Culver City.
