Job Description
A Driver is responsible for transporting packages/materials. Their duties include loading parcels into their vehicle, using a navigation
system to map their route and delivering parcels to the correct addresses in a timely manner.
Essential Functions
Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day by using the Samsara app within the company phone.
Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.
Delivers parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company/client orders, and other items as
requested.
Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and
mechanical issues to supervisor.
Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.
Non-Essential Functions
Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Company Cell Phones
Company provides a company cell phone in which will have Samsara App installed. By using this app,
company will be able to track delivery routes and driver will verify all pickups (PO#’s) before
parting the location of the pick-up to avoid leaving any test samples behind.
When arriving at work location, you will pick up the company cell phone to take with you during your routes. At the end of
your shift and arrival back at your work location, you will give the company cell phone to Supervisor
Cameras in company Cars/Trucks
Cameras have been installed in company cars/trucks showing the road view for safety purposes. It does have a recording
option in which activates a few seconds before and after an accident.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
Work is performed during regular work hours. May stay after hours and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines as needed.
Sitting and walking prolonged periods of time – up to 8 hours or more per day.
Work in varying degrees of temperature (heated or air conditioned).
Ability to endure heat.
Noise level is usually moderate to loud. Must be able to work in noisy environments.
Fast-paced environment, subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.
Position requires light to moderate work with 50 pounds maximum weight to lift and carry.
Position requires sitting, reaching, bending, stooping, climbing, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking
and/or hearing, and seeing.
Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather. (May require forklift).
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, working 1st shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm, with minimum required 30-minute lunch break. Must be at your work
station by the start of your shift. Ability to work overtime is required. Ability to work on Saturdays may be required per
company scheduled needs.
